Greenwood Memorial Park flag placement for Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and other military anniversaries.
Children of the American Revolution
The Letitia Coxe Shelby Chapter is proud to support the Presidio Hill Society, N.S.C.A.R. Four our chapter members are senior officers of the Presidio Hill Society.
Annual Christmas Stocking Project for Wounded Warriors, Hospitalized Veterans, and Homeless Veterans
We meet once a year to fill about 200 Christmas stockings for veterans with items we have collected through the year.
Greenwood Memorial Park Veterans Identification Project
Letitia Coxe Shelby chapter members are working to identify all veterans buried or interred at Greenwood Memorial Park. We have found over 6,200 thus far. It is believed there are 10,000 within Greenwood. We take photographs of the headstones or markers and then utilize Find a Grave, Billion Graves, Ancestry, Fold3, Newspapers.com, Genealogy Bank, etc... for research.
50th Anniversary of Vietnam War
We love our Vietnam Veterans! If you have a loved one that hasn't received their 50th Anniversary Commemortive lapel pin, please contact us.
Our growing photo wall, commemorating local Vietnam veterans, soldiers, and heroes.
